Jason P, Houston TX Says : I'll admit it, I'm not a suit guy. Of course I own some "off the rack" suits that I've had altered to fit me. But never anything custom tailored. When I decided to take the plunge, a friend of mine (who's always looking GQ) referred me to Imparali.
Matt (I believe the manager) was super cool and patient with me. I informed him of my "rookie" status and he guided me through the different options regarding the materials, cut, maintenance, etc. I told him how I like my formal attire to fit, because I have a weird (pathetic) body shape. I don't like my gear to be cumbersome, but I also don't want to look like I'm wearing my Dad's old hand me down. I ended up picking up two suits and shirts and crossed my fingers that everything would fit well once I received my order.
Like a frickin' GLOVE! Maybe I'm just naive when it comes to fashion and I should have expected tailored apparel to fit perfectly. But I honestly wasn't anticipating how well put together everything is. Listen to Matt when he makes suggestions because the dude knows what he's talking about.
If you're in need of some high quality threads to nail that interview, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg, go see these guys. I highly recommend them for your formal attire needs.

Myself being a very tall and lanky one, after many unsuccessful trips to "tailors" (even tried a few after trying Matt to make sure), Matt has consistently proven to make sure my suit fits properly. He also make recommendations on places to buy to fit your body style, which is very helpful. Once I am a moneymaker I will definitely have him do some custom work for me - whenever that time may come. Matt is not the cheapest but he definitely is worth the price.
